BOULEVARD FILM FESTIVAL

Boulevard Film Festival is a short film festival located in Sunnyside, Queens. This festival was founded by Amanda Barker and Matthew Carlson, two artists living and working in Queens. BLVDFF has been running since 2016, programming and screening local films and connecting them directly with local audiences. BLVDFF has proudly helped films from each year achieve distribution through IndiePix Unlimited, Hewes Pictures, DirectTV and Amazon Prime. The mission of the festival is to create a local forum that celebrates the art of filmmaking while supporting local filmmakers and showcasing films that are emblematic to the borough of Queens.

SOUNDWALL EVENTS

JUXTAPOSE BY DEREK AUGUSTE

Juxtapose is a Soundwall installation by Derek Auguste a.k.a. Jamel Prodigy. Opening night of this installation took place at the Soundwall Gallery in Tribeca on February 18th, 2016. Event planning was done by Amanda Barker, as Soundwall's Gallery Manager, and the accompanying video was produced by Amanda Barker, and shot and edited by Brian Hose. Music for the installation and video were written and performed by FKA Twigs. 

CGN COLLECTIVE

CGN Collective's Soundwall collaboration was managed by Amanda Barker, as Soundwall's Gallery Manager, and the accompanying video was shot, produced and edited by Amanda Barker and Brian Hose. 

ELLIS BY JR

The Soundwall Gallery in Tribeca was one of the few venues chosen to screen JR's short film Ellis, featuring Robert De Niro. As Gallery Manager, Amanda Barker incorporated Soundwall's technology into the film screening, using the Soundwall "Wall of Sound" as a screen projecting both image and sound to the audience.

R. CITY'S "WHAT DREAMS ARE MADE OF"

Grammy Award-winning production/songwriting duo R. City debuted their newest album "What Dreams Are Made Of" at the Soundwall Gallery in Tribeca on October 9th, 2015. This event was managed by Amanda Barker, as Soundwall's Gallery Manager.

Aaron Li-Hill's installation Resonance debuted at the Soundwall Gallery in Tribeca on September 24th, 2015. This event was co-managed by LeBasse Projects in LA and Amanda Barker, as Soundwall's Gallery Manager.
